Cookie Policy
What we store on your device and why. Published under art. 4 alin. (5) of Legea 506/2004 and the GDPR.

1. What this covers
“Cookies” here covers cookies and the equivalent browser storage this site uses. We keep the list short deliberately — everything below is either needed for the site to work or is analytics and advertising measurement you can decline.
2. Strictly necessary — no consent required
These are set because you asked for a function that cannot work without them. They carry no advertising identifiers.
| Name | Purpose | Lifetime |
|---|---|---|
| qult_session | Keeps you signed in after you use a sign-in link, so you can see your trips. Signed, and not readable by scripts. | 30 days |
| cookies-accepted / qult:ads-consent:v1 | Remember your analytics and advertising measurement choices. Historical analytics acceptance does not grant advertising consent. | Until cleared |
| lang | Remembers whether you are reading the site in English or Romanian. | Until cleared |
| qult-mode | Remembers whether you last viewed the site as a guest or as a property owner. | Until cleared |
3. Analytics — only with your consent
If you accept, we use Google Analytics 4 (property G-LYXKVMCZB9) to understand which pages are used and where people give up. It sets cookies named _ga and _ga_LYXKVMCZB9, which expire after two years. Microsoft Clarity also helps us understand clicks, scrolling and navigation through masked session recordings and heatmaps. Clarity loads only after acceptance, on eligible public pages. Guest forms are masked, and private booking pages are excluded. Advertising features in Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity remain denied.
Until you accept, the Google tag runs with analytics storage denied under Google Consent Mode, so no analytics cookie is written. If you decline, it stays that way.
4. Third-party content
Property pages embed Google Maps to show the location. Loading a map involves a request to Google, which may set its own cookies under Google's policies.
OpenAI Ads loads only after acceptance of the updated banner and measures public page visits and confirmed, paid bookings, including value and currency and a pseudonymous event reference. It uses __oppref (30 days) for attribution and __obref (365 days) as a browser reference. Older analytics-only acceptance does not enable OpenAI Ads. After you accept, OpenAI Ads may also detect contact details entered in forms and send SHA-256 hashes to OpenAI to match bookings to ads. Raw contact details are not sent through automatic advanced matching. Our own event code does not explicitly attach guest names, email addresses or phone numbers. With analytics consent, Qult also measures booking-page experiments using a random browser identifier retained for 30 days, a session identifier with 30-minute idle expiry, visible message impressions and booking interactions. Anonymous experiment records are retained for up to 120 days and joined to confirmed website payments through an opaque transaction reference; no guest contact details are stored in this experiment ledger. We send these events for measurement with future user-level personalization opted out. After both analytics and advertising consent, this site also keeps campaign labels in browser storage for up to 30 days and associates them with a paid booking for reporting. It stores only whether an OpenAI click reference was present, not the reference itself. Withdrawing consent clears the browser campaign record.
5. Changing your mind
Clear this site's data in your browser settings and the banner will appear again on your next visit, letting you choose differently. You can also block or delete cookies entirely in your browser — the site will keep working, though it will forget your language and sign-in.
6. If you decline
Nothing on the site stops working. We simply lose the aggregate picture of how the site is used, which we rely on to improve it.
